Terms & Conditions
Who we are and what these terms cover. These terms apply to mwirelabs.com and to every MWire product and service, including the MWire Console and API (together, the “Services”). They are offered by MWIRE LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62013ML2025PTC014249), Pohkseh, Nongthymmai, Shillong, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya 793014 (“MWire”, “we”). By using the Services or creating an account you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Some Services have product terms, such as Annex A for the console. If a product term conflicts with these general terms, the product term applies to that Service. If you have a signed order form or a Model Licence Agreement with us, it prevails for the services it covers.
Who can use it. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. If you sign up for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it.
Your account. Give true information. We verify your email. You are responsible for everything done with your account, passwords and keys, so keep them secret. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. Some Services have extra account rules, which are in their product terms.
Using the Services. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the website and the Services you have access to, including for commercial use where the product terms allow it. Some Services, languages and features need approval and may be restricted. We may change, add or withdraw features, and we do not promise uninterrupted service. Beta features are offered as they are.
Fees and payment. Some Services are paid. Prices, credit, validity and payment rules for each product are in its product terms. For the console, see Annex A. Payments are processed by PayU. Refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Your content. You own the data you send to our Services (“inputs”) and the results you get back (“outputs”). You give us permission to process them only to run the Service for you. We do not use your inputs or outputs to train models. You confirm you have the rights and consents needed for what you send, including the consent of people whose voices you submit. How long we keep data is set out in the Privacy Policy and the product terms.
What you must not do. – Break the law or use the service to harm, harass or defraud anyone. – Create speech that imitates a real person without their consent, or use outputs to mislead people about who is speaking. – Resell the service, share or sell your keys, or get around rate limits or access rules. – Scrape the service, probe or test its security, or interfere with other users. – Copy, reverse engineer, or use the service or its outputs to train a competing model. – Use the service for covert surveillance or to process data you have no right to process.
AI outputs. Speech recognition, translation, speech synthesis and embeddings can be wrong, especially for low-resource languages. Check outputs before you rely on them. Do not use them as the only basis for legal, medical, safety or other high-stakes decisions.
Our property. The service, models, software and the MWire name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no ownership of them. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
Suspension and ending. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access at once if you break these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or if the law requires it. Unused credit on a closed account is dealt with under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Disclaimers and liability. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be error free or suit a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the higher of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and Rs 10,000.
Your responsibility. You will cover our losses from claims caused by your content or by your breach of these terms.
Changes. We may update these terms. We will post the new version and email you about material changes. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
Disputes. Indian law applies. Both sides will first try to settle a dispute by talking for 30 days. If it is not settled, it goes to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat is Shillong, the language is English, and claims are decided individually. The courts at Shillong alone can grant urgent interim relief and enforce an award.

General. These terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement. If a part is invalid, the rest stays in force. You may not transfer your account. Neither side is liable for delay caused by events beyond its control. We may give notice by email or on the site.
Annex A. MWire Console and API (product terms)
A1. Accounts. An account becomes active after a first recharge or after our approval, and we may limit how many accounts are active at one time. New accounts have daily usage limits until we lift them. You may hold up to five API keys. Rate limits apply.
A2. Credit and payment. – Services are prepaid. Current rates are shown on the Billing page, in rupees. – Pay as you go credit is valid for 365 days from each recharge. Plan credit is valid for 30 days from purchase. – Plan credit is spent first, then pay as you go credit. Only successful requests are charged. – Payments are processed by PayU. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. – Prepaid credit is not refundable, except as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.- Free or granted credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may expire or change.
A3. Your content and how long we keep it. Audio and text you send in short API calls or the web tools are processed to produce your result and are not kept afterwards. For long-audio jobs, the uploaded audio is deleted within 24 hours of the job finishing, and the transcript is kept for 7 days so you can download it, then deleted. We keep usage records, such as time, service, language, amount used and charge, with our billing records. They never contain your audio or text. See the Privacy Policy.
A4. Extra rules for the API. Do not share, sell or publish your API keys. Do not get around rate limits or language restrictions. Do not use outputs to train a competing model. Do not use speech synthesis to imitate a real person without their consent, or to mislead anyone about who is speaking.
A5. Availability. Services and languages marked restricted need approval. Availability varies by language. We may pause a Service for maintenance or licensing reasons.
